She got her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly in 2006 and then
attended veterinary school at Washington State University. After graduating in 2011, she moved
back to the Central Coast to live with her husband, two cats, dog, and horse. In her spare time Dr.
Leah enjoys crafts and photography when she is not curled up watching a movie with her pets. She
is very interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially enjoys surgery and hopes to
pursue certification in veterinary acupuncture in the future.

As Office Manager, she brings with her
years of office experience as well as a great love for animals. She was
a client of Dr. Forsythe's for several years before the opening of
Orcutt Veterinary Hospital. She now combined her passion and her
experience and is enjoying her part as a member of the team.

has worked as a surgical veterinary assistant for the humane society for several years prior to coming aboard at Orcutt Veterinary Hospital. We really appreciate her blend of practical experience and common sense in her job here with us.

has worked for veterinary hospitals four years prior to joining our team. Her previous jobs as graphic artist, illustrator, technical artist and drafter designer required her to be a perfectionist and a problem solver - great skills to have as a team member here at Orcutt Veterinary Hospital!

moved here from Florida, she enjoys spending time outdoors as much as she can with her family. She is currently enrolled in Ashworth Community College online. She has always wanted to become a veterinarian and is on the path to accomplishing that goal.

Jane's passions are writing and working with animals. She earned a degree in journalism and enjoyed an early career as a writer prior to joining the team at Orcutt Veterinary Hospital. She is certified in animal massage therapy and has nearly completed her coursework to become a certified veterinary assistant. She enjoys working with Drs Forsythe and Krugman, her fellow staff members, and especially enjoys working with the animals who come in to OVH and the people who love them.
